What is school ERP software?
Software that keeps a school’s records and daily work in one place — students, fees, attendance, exams, staff, salaries and messages to parents — instead of separate registers, Excel sheets and apps. “School management software” and “school management system” mean the same thing.
Is it really free for 12 months?
Yes. Every feature of the plan you choose, for 12 months from the day your school is set up, at no cost. There is no card to enter and no advance to pay. SMS and WhatsApp messages are the one thing paid for as you use them, because they cost us per message.
What happens when the free months end?
We remind you before they end. Your first bill is for the plan you chose when you started — yearly, or half-yearly — paid per student from then. If you’d rather not carry on, tell us before it is due, and we give you a complete copy of all your data.

Which boards does CampusMonkey work for?
CBSE, ICSE and state boards. A new school starts with the CBSE pattern for classes I to VIII — two terms, periodic tests, notebook and subject enrichment marks, grades A1 to E and a CBSE report card. Terms, what is assessed, the grading scale and the report card’s design can each be changed, so an ICSE or state board school reports the way its board expects.
Do parents and teachers need to install an app?
No. CampusMonkey works in the browser on any phone or computer. Parents sign in with their mobile number and can add it to their home screen like an app. Android and iPhone apps are on the way.
Is our school’s data safe?
Each school’s data is kept apart from every other school’s — checked by the database itself, not only by the app. ID numbers such as Aadhaar are stored encrypted, sign-in can be limited to office hours, and every change is recorded in an audit trail.
How much does CampusMonkey cost?
The first 12 months are free. After that you pay per student, yearly or half-yearly. Set-up by our team, support and the parents’ login are included in every plan; SMS and WhatsApp messages are paid for as you use them. The Pricing page works out the cost for your number of students.
Can we move from Excel or another software?
